Brand & Marketing Guidelines
After meeting with the client and establishing goals and tone for 110 Customs as a brand, I put together a cohesive set of brand guidelines for them to share with anyone who produced PR & Marketing content.
Content Marketing
After a discussion with the client, we determined that 110 Customs was meant to be the local expert on automotive care and customization. We worked together to generate a few ideas on how we could position 110 as an expert, and determined that long-form written content (in the form of blogs) would both boost their website on search engine results. We can pair those blogs with long-form video content published to sites like YouTube, which is a hub of the online automotive scene.
Newsletter
One area of growth the client suggested was interaction with current customers. While a large portion of their current business is referred through word-of-mouth, the client noticed that they do not have much in the way of direct communication with past customers who do not reach out. To remedy this, I proposed an email newsletter that could be embedded in a regular email. This, while not ideal, was the best option for the client’s existing workflow.
Content Scheduling
The client and I determined that visibility on social media was of a high priority. To achieve this, I created a weekly content schedule including general topics and content types for the client to follow. Consistent posting, such as this schedule promotes, is an easy way to be recognized by the algorithms that social media platforms utilize.
Weekly Flier
Because the client wanted to pursue local, offline audiences, we determined that a weekly flier posted in common “third places” would be an effective method of reaching those potential customers.
